The process begins with your dentist taking an impression of your mouth and existing teeth. The impression is taken to a dental laboratory where your future denture will be manufactured in multiple stages. As dentures cover some part of your soft, mucosal tissues (gums, palate), it is vital to get them as precisely fitting as possible to avoid uncomfortable wear and usage. You will be seen for a try-in visit at each stage of completion. When the denture is ready to be handed over to you, your dentist will educate you on the proper use and maintenance.
